This immersive 3-Day Object Drawing Course consists of five carefully structured sessions designed to build a strong foundation in charcoal drawing through the Science of Sketching method. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to strengthen your fundamentals, the course offers a step-by-step approach to developing technical skill with confidence.
Over five sessions, you'll complete the 1-Day Technical Class and create two finished object drawings using our signature dry-brush charcoal technique. Each exercise is carefully designed to help you understand proportion, form, texture, perspective, light, and shadow while strengthening your observation skills and technical ability.
The course begins by improving your eye-to-hand coordination, tool handling, and observational skills, enabling you to simplify complex forms and draw with greater accuracy and confidence. Every 2.5-hour session is calm, focused, and guided, creating a meditative learning environment where concentration naturally deepens alongside technical skill.
By the end of the course, you'll take home three completed drawings—your Technical Class exercises and two finished object drawings—along with a strong foundation in the Science of Sketching method and the confidence to progress to our portrait courses.
A clear, practical foundation to keep using after the course.
