Your week, unfolding
Sunday to Saturday. Nine studio sessions, mountain experiences and space between.
All times are local (IST). Activities may adjust for weather and local conditions.
Settle into your mountain home, meet the team and begin with the foundations of drawing.
A slow morning, a deeper exploration of drawing and a light forest hike to the sunset point.
Move from a calming sound-healing session into focused studio practice. Finish the day with music and shared company.
Begin with gentle yoga, return to your drawing, then visit the art museum and Tibetan monastery on a local tour.
An unhurried morning gives way to two studio sessions, with space to experiment and receive personal guidance.
A day for reflection, finishing your work and celebrating the week over a farewell dinner.
One last quiet morning, a forest walk if you feel like it, and goodbyes to the people you’ve shared this week with.

The 2026 retreats run from 22–28 November and 6–12 December. Each retreat is seven days and six nights, with up to ten participants. The organiser decides whether each retreat runs.
Six nights of accommodation, breakfast, nine drawing sessions, all art materials and a takeaway toolkit are included, along with the scheduled sound healing, morning yoga, meditation, sunset hike, local art museum and Tibetan monastery tour, and music and shared evenings. Lunch and dinner costs, local transport and airport or bus-station pickup are confirmed separately by the team.
No previous drawing experience is required. Participants must be aged 18 or over. Teaching is in English and Hindi, with guided sessions that begin with observation and drawing foundations.
One purchaser can book for 1–10 named guests at one hotel, subject to guest and room availability. Each pair shares one king-bed room at the double-occupancy per-person rate; an odd remaining guest gets a single-occupancy room at the single rate. Add guests in room-sharing order.
Double occupancy is for two participants who already know each other. You must name your room-sharing companion when booking; the organiser does not match strangers. Every room has one king-size bed. Book for one guest to have the room to yourself. For groups, rooms are assigned automatically in guest-name order: each pair shares a bed and an odd final guest has a private room.
Meet the team at your selected accommodation: Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort or Monkey Resort, Dharamkot. Ask the team about pickup from Kangra Airport or Dharamshala Bus Station; availability and any additional charges will be confirmed separately. Share your arrival details in advance. Please arrive at your accommodation by 2:00 PM on Sunday. Check out by 11:00 AM on Saturday; property check-in procedures follow the hotel’s standard policy.
A 50% advance confirms your retreat place. Admin will contact you to collect the remaining 50%, due at least ten days before arrival. You may also pay in full when booking. The organiser arranges your hotel room afterward and shares its confirmation separately.
Guest cancellations are non-refundable. Contact admin for date changes or guest transfers. Admin collects any increase in package price; a cheaper date does not generate a refund. If the organiser cancels the retreat, participants will be offered an alternative arrangement or refund.
Drawing sessions mainly involve sitting and working at a table; no special fitness level is required for those sessions. Share any mobility or accessibility needs with the team before booking so property access and suitable arrangements can be checked. Requirements for outdoor activities will be confirmed separately.
The team may adjust the itinerary for weather, local conditions or group needs and will share any changes with participants.
